Like an evil child sticking his tongue to grown ups, so did our government to all of us claiming that it obtained the membership of the UN human rights board due to the status of human rights in the country. It obtained it with Madagascar, Angola, and South Africa! No wonder. Anyway, disregarding what we all know about the humongous human rights violations in the country, which I know for a fact, and which practically turn the whole landscape of the country into a big prison to many people, every one knows that the UN gives those positions as medals for countries favored by the US for executing its plans in a particular region. Personally, I think this membership, which puts us at the same standard as South Africa, the European country of Africa, was given to us as a bonus instead of the 2010 FIFA world cup hosting that went to it. Shows how high the western world holds our rights as humans.

So, while the west being very strict when it comes to sports that our country got zero votes for hosting the 2010 FIFA world cup which went to South Africa and we were not even considered due to very poor organizational and financial capabilities, it obtained the UN human rights board membership, which puts us at the same standard as South Africa, regardless of the slaughter house both countries live in. Shows how high the western world holds our rights in this region as humans.
