Abandoning the sinking ship

We all heard about the Egyptian youth who drowned on their way to Italy to seek any kind of work there, this is not the first time that that sort of thing happens. The hilarious thing about the matter is that, according to "Aljazeera", when the 34 surviving youth arrived to Egypt, they were sentenced to a year of imprisonment each!!!!!!!!!!! Where is Mamdouh Ismaeel by the way??? A mere question. So it's not enough for those kids to suffer from unemployment, being conned out of their life savings or more accurately their families' life savings, having their dreams of a good life crushed, coming back to face a much much worse depression than they had before leaving, seeing their fellow "YOUTH" on the boat "DIE", """"FACING DEATH"""", then top all that with a criminal record????????? What kind of a Greek nonsense comedy this political system is forcing this country to live in????????????? YOUTH ARE RISKING THEIR LIVES to find what they dream to be a "good life", think of it, least of all they'll get married or at least find a loving companion whom they can share their life with in public, a basic human necessity, if we say half of them won't find work on the spot, the other half may find, even if they start as dish washers or second comees or selling newspapers or anything. We can't deny that there must be a portion of them that goes into drugs and prostitution, but many of them build good lives too. A colleague of mine in college who was a dear friend too went to US a couple of years after graduation, he suffered from horrible times before settling down there in California, but now he brought all his family and his wife's family to US and they're living fine thank heavens. I for one blame my self for not staying in Switzerland with my family there, or to avoid the language barrier, even going to the US with one of the female friends I met there on the road, look what happened to me just as I arrived to MY HOMELAND! دخلونى جهنم بواسطة . But there seems to be a denial of this sentence in the Egyptian media, I haven't been reading newspapers lately but just today I heard in a program on Nile Culture channel where Hafez Abu Seda and an Egyptian ambassador who must be the ambassador to Italy, both were the guests of Elshaer who was pleading with the youth staying abroad illegally to come back and "they will not be harmed or mistreated"!!!!!!! So what was that year imprisonment sentence then??????? Those youth and all the sacrifices they go through just to be able to leave the country, to the degree that even the possibility of death by drowning doesn't stop them, are becoming an embarrassment to the Egyptian political system, which degraded Egypt from a possible powerful Iran and North Korea in the sixties to another Mexico and central African countries in the last decade, this system which doesn't leave a single chance untaken to "brag" about "respect of human rights" and the "financial leap" and the "economic growth" and the "prosperity" the people live in, those youth are the big "zit" on the system's nose, that defies all the heavy make-up it keeps putting on and shows how aging and dangerously sick it's become, so dangerous that it's key sailors, strong healthy youth, are throwing them selves at sea to abandon this sinking ship, knowing that its captain and high officers already have their life boats on stand by.
